Second of all, that bomex bumper is fugly; always has been--always will be. The lines on it match NOTHING on a 3/s.

Third, Knockoff Pitroad-M hoods with RAM-AIR in front of the cowl, instead of a vent--are retarded.

Fourth, Banana > whatever "shogun" wing your green card has. This goes 10x if we're talking about a 96 banana.

Fifth, the stealth is black and orange. If you put any colors on it other than black, orange or silver (chrome/polished)--shoot yourself.

Sixth, R/T tails are rare. Practically every "sporty" car in the 1990s came with the fugly "band-o-taillights". Integra, supra, 240z, Escort zx2, Camaro, Firebird, etc. There is NOTHING unique about the taillight design on a 3kgt. The only thing remotely like R/T tails is an Avenger, and those aren't even the same.

Seventh, I couldn't tell if those were 19's or 20's. Doesn't really matter. Looks great as it is. Looks 100000x better than the wheels on the green one.

Eighth, Leave the interior alone. Painting the trim pieces--especially in a color that doesn't match the exterior--is a huge no-no. Money is much better spent on subtle mods to the gauges, stereo, instrument lighting, etc.

I swear, I think whoever the original owner of the orange car is--the one who put in all the work to get it to where it is in that pic--is probably dying a little bit inside.
Well you are the 1st person who thought my 92 2nd gen conversion looked that bad?? the rear wing is just a slight different version of a 99(its nothin like a banana!) and anyways i HATE those banana half moon pieces of junk(as on my orange car)1st item commin off! and i also hate stealth rear corner lights/skinny center garnish(YUK!)2nd thing to go(3000gt bomex goin on!)everyone has diff taste i just thing the stealth looks like a average dodge and a 3000gt looks like a poor mans lambo(euro supercar)but still meaner non the less! and i've yet to hear anyone diss my chrome wheels on the 92 either(keepin those for the orange car!) and the Cf hood i think looks great as well! i added a pic of almost exactly what my orange car will look like done(just my wheels are different actually better imo!) i don't think anyone will say its gonna look to bad?? actually pretty awesome if u ask me!! lol! if you look its same bomex, wing, hood, sideskirts, rear bomex ect ect(only im using a GTO center garnish)as im not too big on the 99 center!! will agree this time around im gona tone it down on the loud interior trim(might just do most of it Cf?) as far as spending much more on audio for it? id say about done! few of these cars will sound as good as mine!! as i'm at over $8,000 in stereo in it already!(not show all go!)not like that orange one that made ROTM!(which btw the audio layout looks beautiful)but i can tell by the equipment used its more show than go!!(aka looks better than it will sound!)someday i will step up in the audio looks dept(although its currently above average in looks/layout!) again not sure how you ended up hating on my 2 cars soo much?,but i'm pretty happy with the way their goin so far!!! hey btw just looked at yours! not sure why you would put a stealth rear end on a 3000gt when the 3000gt's look better???(hell anyone else wanna do this let me know as i'l get ride of my stealth rear end parts!!(granite im not as much of a hater!)your doesn't look terrible(due to being dark)as tail lights don't stand out as loud as on a lighter color car! and yes i like your hood as well! i'd take either if given a choice!, i just so happened to get a good deal on mine and it was in driving distance as well!(so kinda hard to pass it up!,believe it or not i even like your wheels! gona add a pic of yours for people to see k!(hope u don't mind?)btw way the persons car who basically said my 2 cars looked riced and shitty is the last car on the right(i'm not gonna cut his down!)as its not too bad(other than putting stealth rear end parts on a 3000gt)which way beyond what i'd do(3000gt rear looked better to begin with!)but again everyone has opinions!! most are ok just not what some of us would chose??,but i agree when people put big wings on our cars(like you see kids put on cavaliers ect!)and euro lights ect then ya thats a bit too much!! if the looks of the orange one is bad(to others) let me know why only difference will be the wheels currently on my green car will be goin onto the orange one!!(yes they are 20's)but the 1st 20's i've seen that really don't look too big on our cars!!?? and imo the wheels on that orange car do look too big!(but its not my car!)mine looks totally identicle except black roof, mirrors, door handles!!,other than that an absolute twin!!!

    Countach taillights:

    Diablo taillights:

    Mirua taillights:

    Murcielago taillights:

    Testarossa taillights:

Now maybe it's just me, but NONE of those look like 3000gt tails--not even remotely. FTR, all the other ferrari's have circular tails, ala corvette. You know what does look like 3000gt tails? Integras. Supras. Probes. Eclipses. Etc.

As to the rest, I already shared my thoughts. You're right, we all have differing tastes. One thing most 3/s owners will agree on is that the car has a natural beauty to the lines, and that all body modifications should accentuate or enhance those features. Bomex parts do NOTHING. They actually detract from the stock beauty/features of the 3/s. I've been around this platform for 13 years--way back to when I had "rice in my eyes". Nothing looks as good as the stock lines. Nothing. The only way you can make it better is with a lip, splitter, etc. Everything else just clashes.

I get that you like the hood. It's also a knockoff, as I explained--which means it does the opposite of what a 3/s needs: a vent above the rear turbo. If you like the style, fine...but you'd be better off getting a proper one. One with 2x vents, not 1x vent and 1x scoop.

There already was a 3/s with all CF interior, I'll let you be the judge. Personally, I'd prefer using CF as trim, rather than the main piece. Adding color is a risky proposition at best. Colored CF almost never looks good.

My call on the wheels has to do with the existing color scheme. Dark-color wheels will accent the color scheme. Chrome ones just throw it off. Even stock 5-spoke r/t 18" chromies (arguably the best looking 3/s stock wheel) wouldn't look quite as good--based on this particular paint scheme. Additionally, smoking the tails/garnish on the existing rear end would also match the look very well. You could even paint the hatch black, so that it matches the rest of the black-top theme--and then it would terminate nicely at blacked-out r/t garnish.

As to my car? Feel free to rip into it. I don't give a crap. I went through the days when I had a hard-on for the shogun front bumper & spinner wheels...thank god I got over that. What you see on my car now is what I feel is the best combination of stock parts; 2g 3k sides, 2g r/t rear bumper, 97 front bumper. I plan on adding a 2-piece lip to the front & modifying it for 99 turns. I also plan to modify the rear to remove the stock reverse lights & filling it all the "creases" on the bumper, making it look smoother (matching the 3rd gen 3k front bumpers). I also have plans to swap to stealth sails & I have a custom 1-off idea for a wing, based on the existing 3k n/a wing that's on it already. Maybe it will look good, maybe it won't. If I don't like it, I can always go with a 96 banana. You simply cannot go wrong with a 96 banana on an r/t.

The only ones here that really do look similar to the r/t tails are the viper's and the avenger's. All of the rest are mostly band-o-tail-lights....which (surprise, surprise) is exactly what the 3000GT has.
