    Teething issues

So I have finally got my car to a location where I can begin tuning. The car is unregistered and is a dedicated track car now. I have essentially removed all the modules and wiring beside the engine related gear. I am having a couple of problems and I'm sure more will come as I progress.

First some details on the car.

    96 GTO, 99 SL ecu, Chrome v2 with maf-t, 16Gs, 1050cc and supporting mods.

First problem is ignition timing doesn't move from 8 degrees besides the standard fluctuations at idle. I won't get a chance to try anything until next weekend most likely so just putting some feelers out there.

One thing I thought was maybe I accidentally grounded the timing test wire during the wiring reduction and fusebox relocation. Open to all suggestions.

Another problem is a fuel cut like condition when getting on the throttle. I have logged this and the AFR map under this condition goes through the roof sending IPW right down.

I'm going to keep working on this and I'm sure it will be a wiring problem. Fwiw I have run this car with v1.1 and an EVO maf up at 20 psi. Cheers.

Yeah I am it works great. This is actually cutting fuel. Maybe a loose wire somewhere. Might pull the dash and go over everything needs a tidy up back there anyway.

Any thoughts on the fixed timing? I haven't confirmed with a light yet.

My guess the cut out would be spark blow out. No clue on the fixed timing.

Back to healthy 20psi pulls now, must've been a sensor ground problem.
