Can anyone advise on VR4 clutch wear limit for return to service?

Clutch question, can anyone help? The manual says to measure the rivet sink (Distance from the surface to the rivet head) on my clutch disk. The manual specification limit is 0.3mm (0.12in) My clutch is measuring between 1.14mm to 2.22mm (.045in to .048in) As I'm really at my financial end with this car I really don't want to replace yet another costly part! Will this clutch be ok for the rest of the season of just pleasure driving and no racing or 8000rpm launches? I don't mind replacing the clutch before next summer.

sure it will work, but have you considered a new stock clutch disk? They are fairly affordable:

    Mitsubishi 3000GT / Stealth AWD Clutch Disc - Clutches - Clutches / Flywheels - Turbo - 3000GT / Stealth

for me the labor to r&r a 3/s trans is a lot more than that, but everyone's in a different situation.

    Parting 6 speed
Pampena 3.5 Stroker, GTX 2867 Gen IIs, AEM Series2, oohnoo SMIC, DN Hardpipes, FIC 1650s, Walbro 525, aermotive fpr, Dejon intake pipes, Tial Q, Koyo Rad, Samco Hoses, Stoptech 332mm fronts, HKS GT4 Coilovers, Spec 4+ LW, JDM 6 Speed, Billet shift forks, Pampena brace

I'm thinking about it as I have only just found out that with my discount I can get an OEM one for under $100
