3.75 LS6 MAF in Draw Thru with Chrome

I want to run the GM 3.75 LS6 MAF in draw thru but I can't find any information on here about Chrome settings for it. I believe I need new values for the MAF size, MAF scaling, and MAF adder.

Has anyone done this yet? It looks like a huge improvement in intake flow compared to the stock and EVO MAFs

You need a MAF Translator to convert the signal into Hz that the ECU can read. That's how mine is set up. Last I heard Greg was working on a MAF that would work besides the Evo ones but I don't think he's worked any out without bugs yet.

I already knew about the hardware side. I need the MAFT as well as the 3 to 5 pin adapter harness. All are available from Full Throttle. I just need to know what settings to apply on the MAFT and what values to put into Chrome for it.

As far as I know, you just set the MAF-T to convert the signal without applying any correction and tune from there. I haven't seen anything saying you need to make changes in MAF settings in Chrome to adjust for it. Then again, I was getting strange results when trying to tune mine so I just pulled it and put in a stock MAF... Ray has the GM MAF back in it now and is tuning it but I don't know his process.

Ray runs this setup. Actually, he leaves the injector scaling like stock and just tunes the car like a stock ECU with a piggy back.

What I would do if you decided to go this route would be to double the MAF size value so your LOAD numbers match stock values. This way you don't get insane timing numbers at part throttle.

Tune idle and fuel trims like a normal flash ECU car. Only thing i whld change is thw the trim to HZ selection table to be Low (idle) mid (cruise) as those values will be lower than stock (as the MAFT will send a lower HZ signal than a stock MAF.)

If I go this route I'm just going to set the maft to 360s, the correct 85mm maf, and then set the mid on the maft one click richer than recommended and see where that gets me. The maft I ran before was lean in the mid range.

I'd prefer to tweak the maft to get it as close as possible the the hz the ecu is used to seeing and then change the ecu tables as necessary. I like trying to change what has changed to match what I know works when possible.

So you're saying Ray just does the tuning with the MAF-T? I might need to call him up then because I was wanting him to do a pump gas and an E85 tune I could switch between by just re-flashing the ECU.

So he sets the MAFT for 360 injectors and tunes Chrome as if it were the piggy back? Double the MAF size from the stock value? So 576.8 ?? How about MAF scaling - leave it stock ??

Can't figure out what you mean in the bold.

Seems like you would either do this or change to blow thru on a GM MAF. The evo MAF is not going to cut it on your setup

Ray posted on 3si yesterday saying what he does is set the MAFT to correct for injector size then fine tunes with the ECU
