I know VD is becoming more excepted here but there have still been questions because of various high hp inflated numbers. It is vital that your road is flat, level and you can do a pull without wheelspin as VD measures rpms and time. Any jump in rpm will affect the graph. (which is why my atx graphs look crazy until the converter couples)

If you aren't familiar, Tom (TScomptuned) is a highly regarded and sought after remote tuner geared towards evos and has an impressive list of high hp cars that have been tuned by him.

    Man, twice the torque @ 4k from td04 3.1L vs a T4? 2.3L.

That dyno is what JBuhrman is looking to replicate in his Evo. Let's hope the earlier torque will help me out!

Help them, for they know not that which they do not know!

Nice! I've certainly looked around and found good examples of VDs matching up with Dynos. If you tune on the same road with the same conditions it's a great tuning tool for sure. My big problem with it is that it's so easy to get bad data out. Like you said, bad road, wheel slip, incorrect weights, incorrect ratios, etc. It's very easy for a user to make a mistake either by accident or on purpose. So instead of trusting the dyno/dyno operator, we have to trust the user.
