    Lmi Blown Turbo Club!

    New member as of 10/7/10! Anyone want to join!?! Haha!

    These turbos were made for my dying grandmother. Now she will never get to enjoy boost again.

    I was a member but I already replaced them with IPS 19Ts. Much happier now

    I just keep hearing such bad things about those turbos. No wonder they are so cheap.

    I was part of this club before you, but that was before this site was made....

    Mine lasted a whole 22 miles before I got the turbo whine of death(compressor wheel contacting the housing) and this was on a brand new rebuild. My datalogger said I was running 32% throttle and my guage read 2 psi when I heard the screeching.

    Sucky situation, but I got 3sx 16t's now and love them!!! Just spend the money and get something from a reliable vendor

    But, but, but the LMI turbos we're going to destroy the DR-750's I thought? LOL. Sorry to hear about yet ANOTHER set of these trashtastic turbos failing.

    Pretty bad when you'd have better success buying chinabay turbos...

    I have had my turbos since february with the installation and lasted me 10,000 miles!!!!! GO LMI ahahhahahahahah however my car always run waste-gate. I saw this coming from a mile away when I went to finally get something tuned. Forced upgrade might be an option or a pair of 15Gs.

    So pretty much under boost/3k rpm my car will start to plume smoke while boosting. At idle or everyday driving w/o boost no smoke at all.
