I acquired a wrecked 97 vr4 a few days ago. It was owned by a local guy that I knew of, just never really met until buying the car. He posted it on a local facebook car/swap page. He really didn't know much about the car, he just drove it. Last fall he lost control in a round about and totaled the car. I saw it had a lot of nice stuff on it so I bought it to part. Doing some research (by searching the vin#)I was able to track it back to this sale add.

You can see back in 9/24/2010 the car only had 66k miles on it. All mods were done after 63k miles. It currently has 69k. I've already pulled everything off the car that I think is valuable. Some items I'm keeping for myself. Some items I think may sell to some of my local friends. Everything else is getting scrapped sometime this week.

Also I live about 40 minutes from the closest shipping center (Fedex) and about 12 minutes to the closest post office. So I like to ship stuff once a week on Thursdays.

polished 3sx valves). The previous owner had put around 3k miles on the car before wrecking it. Radiator was damaged during wreck so it leaked out all the coolant. Passenger tire was also rubbing pretty well on the bumper. But I still jumped the vehicle at his house and drove it on the trailer/off the trailer. I also drove it about 300' into my garage. I didn't let it run for more than a minute because of lack of coolant. I have a video of me starting it and running if I can get photobucket to upload it. Had good oil pressure, no noises. Also a cold compression test shows numbers range from ~ 147 to ~ 157. Oil cooler is still attached but lines are rusted and I wouldn't trust them. Oil pan also has a slight dent in it but not that bad. Oil pressure sensor and coolant sensor are missing as it had defi gauges installed and the sensors need to go with the gauges. Lower timing cover is broken around motor mount area. Top timing covers look like they were painted yellow at one point, then black. Someone sprayed rear valve cover black but it's flaking off.
