    Meh, I typed quite a bit only to lose it in a browser crash I'll edit this tomorrow when I have more time

    In for the details. How do you have the audio hooked up? Is everything through the USB port? I was having a hard time telling from the video.

    The only thing you need now is to add an FM tuner, and you are set. I think I may go this route and drop the whole Raspberry Pi/Beaglebone Black thing. Nexus 7 w/ some flavor of Arduino.

    Yep, all going through the USB to an external USB soundcard. FM isn't my thing, but could be easily implemented for anyone who does. They have external FM/HD tuners that Android can control and display radio data on the screen.

    I was thinking about the Eonon M1 but this looks like it might be a cooler option. I'm definitely in for the build details.
