Ya we are trying to figure out the engine issue first. I am away from the car but my Dad ordered new couplers for the preturbo pipes so maybe that will help.

Normally on a cold start the wideband would read rich then gradually work up to around 14.7. This time it started at either 14.7 or 18 on cold start (can't remember). Seemed strange but thought it was a fluke until I realized it was running like shit and the AFR didn't come back down.

I didn't touch the adjustment at all. It seems to be engaging at a good height from the floor.. how should I go about adjusting it? Is there a certain measurement I need to take or anything?
The way to measure is to measure the free play. You do that by using a ruler/tape measure to the floor and up to the pedal. Press the pedal with your finger to see when you hit "resistance." That is your free play. As for what the measurement is supposed to be I cannot remember off the top of my head, but that infor is in the owner's manual. If you don't have one I can go dig mine out and look it up.

Get that first, then we worry about adjustments.

    IIRC it is 5/8"?

This really sounds like unmetered air to me.

Help them, for they know not that which they do not know!

When I get back to the car I will measure that free play. Thanks for the info on it.

I am hoping/thinking it is a leak, as well. At first I didn't think so simply because I didn't think a seemingly small leak could cause this much of a problem.. but it makes sense. I'll let you guys know if the new couplers help.
