    Bitching about a 4g in a 3000GT

And then someone will bitch that it's a gutted track car and a disgrace to all other 3S owners that bought their cars as Grand Tourers.

Just don't understand how some guy in his garage messing around with an angle grinder and welder can cause so much grief for others that just happen to own the same car across the country. Bizarre.

I want an easy to wrench on platform that allows easy and cost-effective setup changes to satisfy my need to tinker. I also want to make power from 4-9k without breaking the bank. It needs to be somewhat civil for date nights and weekend trips with wife when we get a kid break. I prefer the timeless, retro-badass looks of a 1g VR4. So I built what I want. For weight, it should end up in the 3300lb range with full interior and AC. Not light, but not what I would consider heavy either.

We are messing around with 20year old cars as a hobby. Nobody flippin cares what engine is in it. Hell, the general public won't even know what brand it is, much less the model and engine it was supposed to have. The only way I will regret the mods I've done over the years is if the cars become collectable, which I highly doubt, and my 135k mi car wouldn't be a great candidate anyway.

For those that are continuing to make insulting remarks directed either at me or the swap I will invite you to do one of two things.....1) come over to my garage, hang out, drink a beer, play with the TIG, talk about cars, come for a ride and enjoy this car hobby. PM me for cell and address. Or 2) Fuck off Either way, I'm still going to enjoy my car and hobby.

is designed to compete with the top cars of the category. that means 6.5-sec ET's and 210+ mph.

LOL that's why they need to market their stuff outside of platforms. Some 3/S people are thinking old school or wierd. If I was a shop owner I would build a car that challenge the popular cars in their gatherings. Look at UGR and AMS people in supra gathering. every year they bring more cars.
Either way I'm still waiting to see DSM people's reaction for this swap. lol Have you thought about installing your billet turbos on this engine? are 4g64 internals good for high power or are they N/A? Don't

I don't have billets anymore. Stock crank is fine. Pistons are fine. Like any other forced induction engine, stock rods are the issue. Im sure they can take some power if you keep tq down, but I'm not going to push it. Broken rods in a 4g tend to put holes in the block and the 2.4 blocks are harder to find than 2.0. I'll build it. Was looking at k1 billet cranks last night. $1600. Love it! Multiple stroke options from what I have at 100mm or destroke for some crazy revs. I'll keep the stock 100mm stroke though. Stock forged or billet TBD.

This whole thread with the complaints is lame. It's like saying why am I putting a built SOHC engine in my car and putting a BW S363 turbo on it? Why mod any car? Because it's challenging and fun.
Your 1993 Dodge Stealth is one of 6351 that received VIN numbers. Based on the order of the serial numbers, your car was the 5212nd out of the 6351 that were made that year.
Your car was built in the 3rd week of February 1993. Of the 47380 vehicles made at the Nayoga plant, your car was the 40537th vehicle to be created that year.
There are 281 other cars that were made with both the same interior and exterior color. There are 779 cars with the same exterior color and 2316 cars with the same interior color.
Note: The production order is assigned based on the order of the serial number.

Let me be the first to ask why. lol It's like boosting a 1.5L sohc civic when there are 2L dohc engines out there
