I really don't have time and it's a waste of a gasket set since I will build it later, but I am really thinking about buying a full gasket set and shipping it to me before the weekend. If I can build a mount setup from scratch, get a custom steering line made, contemplate wiring, rewire a few items and troubleshoot startup in a weekend, I should be able to pull the engine, full gasket redo and put it back in over a weekend

Just thinking out loud. Have your thought about using a 7bolt head. So you can use twin scroll evo 8/9 turbos you would save ic piping and you have to relocate the alternator to the back but less lbs. Anyways looks good to me

I saw this thread when skimming the forums and I just thought nothing of it then decided to click on it... I am still waiting for you to say it is a joke.

Did you seriously just figure all that out, makes it work, and not make a hype thread 5 years ahead? I'm in shock honestly..

That is REALLY cool! Sounds like you know what you are doing and are into unique ideas with the 14B on your old engine, auto trans, 4G63, etc.

    Great work!!!

Sticking with the monster ports of the 1g head. If I want twin scroll, I'll build a mani or have one built. Not relocating alt to back because I will be installing AC back there

Sweet I didn't even know of the 4G64. So you only lost 0.6L of displacement. Not bad! Wonder how much weight you saved?

I'm guessing around 50-75lbs. Not huge and I'll gain a lot of that back with a big mofo turbo eventually. Unless I KISS and bolt on an FP Red and make 550ish and no lack of tq.

How much harder would this be if it were MTX? Would the DSM trans & T case work out just as easily as the ATX equipment?

Don't see how it would be much more difficult although I would never run a DSM MTX unless you like replacing 3rd gears. ATX ftw. No idea on Tcase. I have no desire to learn about a DSM MTX tcase dsmtuners is your friend. Use google search for anything you might have a question on and it's likely been answered 1,000 times. I just know the 6g ATX tcase is the same as the DSM 2g ATX tcase (only 95-96, 97+ have a different ratio). The 90-96 ATX tcase may be the same as well, but I'm running 2g for the lock up converter.

I seriously thought he meant that he put a 4G eclipse engine (6G75) when I first saw the title.

So you are running this AWD?
