    Internals are the same. Auto trans cases don't break. Tcase tail shaft can but there is an upgrade. 95-96 DSM Tcase is same as 94+ 6g jdm auto Tcase.

    Edit: of course it won't be as fast as a car that is lighter. Who said it would be?
