Of course it's AWD! The DSM ATX trans is the same as 6g. I'm even using my 6g tcase.
    1992 Kilder Green VR4 - First 4G swap in a 3S. 2.0, auto, awd. 9.65 at 143mph. Now LS swapped. 8.52 at 162.

I know that. What I don't know offhand is if the transverse 4g63 puts the transmission/t-case any more offset than the transverse 6g72. I wouldn't think so--based off the 2g DSM's, but it can always be a little squirrely transplanting a foreign engine in & having to deal with new mount locations, etc.

So the DSM driveshaft bolts up to the 2g VR4 rear ok? I wasn't sure if length was a problem....

Nice work! I expected a hype thread too. I've had several dsms as daily drivers and really love that motor. Simple to work on, parts are cheap, extremepsi is awesome. I deleted the balance shafts on all of mine and had no regrets. My friend (korndoggocr on the dsm forums) had a 2.3 stroker dsm with a big ball bearing turbo. He stripped the teeth off of 4th gear in a built shep trans, and 2 built jacks trans. Jack made him a special build where he used an evo 3rd/4th gear. I guess they were wider. That transmission worked great for him.

Built motor, DR750s, AEM and Meth

I love all of the naysayers. I find it hilarious, actually.

Definitely a step in the right direction when you bring up the word "fun". Can't wait to see this thing tearing up the streets/track.

As a builder and fabricator, My hat goes off to you. Vary nice package indeed. I have nothing but respect for those that bland performance parts to create something that was not.
I can see this car pulling vary well through turns and accelerating hard out of the turns. Many think drags is all there is to life. I happen to prefer road course style performance and believe
this car will have many advantages over many hard boosted 3.0 VR4s. I vary much so like what you have done here. Anyone that can complete an Idea or dream deserves a full round of applause.
So here I sit clapping at a project well done. Congrats.

Does Buschur still make a forward facing turbo manifold setup for this engine? It was quite popular for guys to run a smaller radiator and have the turbo draw air from the front of the car. The advantages of it were for more space with a large turbo.
