I think it's not enough timing up top but it still pulls like a raped ape.

    So...you don't have the first 2000awhp 3S?

Darn, here I was thinking 4G swaps were gonna become the next big thing

Now you just need bigger cams to it to the right a weeeee bit more

I'll have to delete some stuff on here to make room for some 1080p videos

    Videos from the weekend:

Low speed maneuvers. Car actually behaves pretty well considering where the stall is at.

    Just normal speed cruising.

    Rolling acceleration

Two step launch, he lets off at a hair over 100. 0-60 time of less than 3 seconds with 4 adults in the car (ie, an extra 450 pounds than it normally would carry.)

From launch to the top of the hill at the start of the video, the car hits 80 mph.

    So obvious thoughts and comparisons:
Not the most powerful 3S I've ever been in (that would be the Ninja's) and there's a pretty big gulf between them. I've been in a couple 400-500awhp 3S though, so this just kind slots into the middle in terms of AWHP numbers.

You don't get the torque hit on every shift, the car shifts in the blink of an eye and just keeps pulling and pulling and pulling. The closest I've ever experienced to it was Chris' 900awhp VR4, however the power doesn't come on until WAY later than this one and you obviously felt every shift in that car as well as the torque coming back hard. One nice difference though, is that this car feels relatively planted the entire way, Chris' just felt like it was sort of skating all over the road trying to hold the power down.

It comes on much quicker than you think (most likely due to the auto.) Probably more comparable to a big TD04 or a small TD05 than anything else. Definitely slower to come on line than 9Bs or 13Gs, but probably about the same as 19Ts. Obviously much quicker to come on than Ninja's (as you would expect.)

It. is. violent. The videos don't accurately convey it, and I was trying to keep it semi steady, however the car is just violent and rough sounding and feeling with those cams, the open exhaust and everything else. The pull seems to never end, the car certainly doesn't start to run out of steam over 5500rpm like a 6G motor tends to.

Despite being built with straight line intentions, with all the weight reduction it handles reasonably well at speed outside of wanting to take flight when cresting hills.

    4G swap in a 3000gt?

Cool review! Glad you enjoyed it; I know I did! I definitely could feel the weight on acceleration. Makes me want to strip out more weight from car.

Couple comments to add...maneuvering in the driveway you could hear it want to stall. I had lowered the idle at the request of locals so they can hear the cam lope. It doesn't like idle to be in gear with the lower idle and I will be raising it which eliminates the in gear issues.

The first launch didn't actually make it to the 2step before pulling through the brakes so I launched early with a little bog. The second launch vid seriously does not do it justice! My wife took an in car vid from the same spot. I didn't post because you don't get the sense of the violence and acceleration Yours is a little better.

New idea of stripping weight: Cut the interior up to fit 4 racing seats. Then you can have another record.

Upload the review and video URLs to the other site. Too lazy to go link them on the other various forums you're on, but I figure you can handle that.

    Quite welcome.

Seriously though, these videos don't do it justice. Its hard to put into words. The last uphill video, that hill is much closer than it looks. Too lazy to go back and do a frame by frame analysis of how quick it was though, but I'd wager to the top of that hill is probably 300-400 feet at most
