you could have video of Brady saying, "I'm going to cheat by deflating these balls and I don't care who knows it." while he actually deflates them himself and he wouldn't get in trouble. might as well try to pin a rape charge on Bill Clinton.

Seems like the only way to get NE to stop with all the cheating, was to punish the shit out of them. If the penalty wasn't strong enough, they'd just find another way to cheat, until they got caught at that one too. Gotta make sure the penalties are not worth taking the risk any more.

Which means the penalties would have to be extremely severe. The benefits of winning a SB are quite substantial. Plus, the NFL owes us pain & suffering damages from all the braggadocio from the bumfucks in NE.

True, but it would be unwise of the NE bumfucks to brag about winning any SB. Any of their wins are now questionable and the whole "legacy" of Tom Brady and Belicheat is about as valid as a Barry Bonds home run.

to be fair. when Barry started juicing it wasn't illegal pre the rules. hell it was just a misdemeanor legally speaking before congress got all over baseball's nuts trying to "save the kids" with all that PR BS.

Bobby, your mention of Bonds reminds me of my favorite capsule statement regarding his acitivities, those of the Patriots, Lance Armstrong, the lot of them:

I'm not making an excuse for the guy or anything. I'm just saying that the 2 are different. with Bonds it wasn't against the rules at the time. sure it might not have been the most ethical thing in the world but it saved baseball which was suffering and as much as they hate to admit it baseball in general profited big time from it. I jus think it's BS for them to cry foul after benefitting from it.

Lance Armstrong is a douche' bag of the highest caliber and much like Bonds he would have gotten by a ton better if he had not been such a douche'. in cycling EVERYONE was cheating. in fact the only people not "cheating" were at the back of the pack. that's just a fact and everyone knew it. as much as I hate Lance as a person and his character what he did was flat out amazing. the comeback from cancer and all those wins. simply incredible. are his wins "tainted" sorta. he doped but he beat other guys doing the same damn thing. sooooo.....
