Julio carried that team last night and turned it into a good game. Fucking hell, I cant believe Carolina is still in it. What a shit year for the South! The AFC North though, thats a fun div to have been watching this year. I will also like to see what happens between Arizona and Seattle, also Green Bay and Detroit.

if you're going to give Dungy credit for leaving Gruden a stacked team you've got to do the same for Gruden and leaving his OC a team that made it to the superbowl.

except that the team gruden left was all offense--and got blown out in the super bowl almost as bad as denver did last year. AND coupled with the fact that the NFC was winding down & the AFC was spinning up (90's was almost all NFC, 00's was almost all AFC). So by rights, that gives Dungy a far superior edge to Gruden; if for no other reason than DEFENSE wins super bowls.

I still think it's easier to screw up a good team than to win with one. plenty of examples of a new coach coming in and turning the team around in one season.

a lot of factors go into what happens at the Super Bowl. yeah TB blew them out with who was it? Brad Johnson? come on man. you could also touch WR's and QB back then without getting a 15 yard penalty.
