Very nice. I've always wanted a clean 280 with a SBC or something in it.

The plan is to use an rb25det with a q45 rear end.

I was into Z cars for a while 15-20 years ago... My driver was a 78 2+2. first thing a did was lose those huge bumpers, and made it about two feet shorter. LOL. That one didn't live long after I sold it. Guy got T-boned and totaled it a few weeks later.

I sold one of my parts cars as a roller once, (72 240) and a couple months later I heard a big cam rumble rolling up to the shop, and saw my old 240 pulling in... Dude had swapped in a SBC 400 with an auto trans, and put it back on the road.

I'm pretty sure I still have an R200 rear diff, and all the conversion parts if you're interested... I'm only a few hours away from you.

EDIT: nevermind.... missed the Q45 rear diff reference the first read.

    Damn. I was hoping for a 6G72, or at least a 4G63.

It's always nice to have enthusiasts near by. I was down in medford a month or so ago to pick up a bike.
