Ever try to lock the doors with the key in the ignition? Guess what the issue was this whole time?

The issue was the result of having the key in the ignition? I had the same issue this week with a new key. It actuall did the same thing (at program registration the remote locked and unlocked the doors but afterward nothing happened). I can't remember whether I had the key in the ignition or not. Will have to try it again tonight.

Yep - works like a charm! I was all set to see if the light green wire from the ETAC was grounded (installers do this to eliminate the OEM alarm)

I suspect this "issue" plagues many of us.
