I also took the amp rack out in the sun, and mounted the 4ch.. along with ran some wire to it. I need to run to HD tomm to get proper bolts for it.

Im also toying around with spots to mount the 3Sixty. Obviously the mono block will me mounted in the big, empty spot.

Still need to make beauty panels.. but heres how the hatch is for now..
    *

I was going strong, and planning on finishing today. All was fine, until i saw the mistake i made.. The elbows. One one end of each is wide.. I need both to be wide.*

Oh well. All thats left is getting/wiring/tuning the mono block, cutting and bonding aero ports, buying/installing XP2000 Batt, and hooking up all the power/grounds/remote.*
    *
Of course trim panels are on the list too.. but they'll wait

Alright.. I PL Premium'd my baffle today with the 8x stuff. I got most of it done, but i ran out. i need to finish the baffle and bracing tomm. I also started cutting the ports. Looks like Ill be able to tune in the high 33s - low 34hz range. That SHOULD be good. I wouldve preferred a bit smaller, but its all about what i can fit

The 3500 should have a delivery attempt tomorrow. Unfortunately, I'll be out of town. On Monday, I'll probably be working when they try to deliver it. I'll try and pick her up after work Monday.

    Well.. They're both mounted..

Not gonna lie.. I was a bit skeptical of the angled in/outputs.. But now that I see them, they're kickass in my application :good:

On another note, I need to paint that one wall of my box. Every time the rear seats are down, the bare wood is visible. What an eyesore. I'm thinking a generic black.

Knocked down just to see where everything is:

Primed to see actual shape, no actual filler yet other than short strand. Gold filler will finish and smooth everything up after general shape is made with short strand. Pics:

The light at the end of the tunnel....smells like body filler.....lots of it

Just a little more to do until the REAL primer can get laid down:

    A few small updates.

I got my smoked license plate LAST November.. So a year and 8 months ago. Never got a warning.. Cops didn't even take a second look.

Thursday after work, I got a warning. He had a slight attitude until I showed him what was up.

Now yesterday, I got another warning. The cop was cool.. So I didn't even show him anything.

Well.. I know.. It was only 2 warning.. But it got annoying. I pulled the cover off until I leave to go back to school. Meh.

Also, I changed my oil last night.. Nbd..

    And.. I got an email

One more hit with falling putty on a couple spots and then the final prime and paint.

Top is using the OEM bracket

    Bottom is after

If only I could smoke the bottom...

Also, I finished the ports. On the inside, I used 2 part plastic epoxy. On the outside, I used amazing goop (I know). On both, the inside and outside, I went over with some gorilla tape. She's sturdy for sure!

    Ports and subs are installed.

Subs are D1. Each sub has a coil wired in series. I see 2.1 on one sub, and 2.2 on the other.
Then, the 2 subs are wired in parallel.. I see 1.2 ohms at the end of my 8awg to my amp. Looks good to me.

I'm happy.. Also doors are in the gone stretch. Hopefully they'll be shipped out in 2 or 3 days.

If I went in circles in this post.. My bad.. I'm a bit.. Yea...

I've been insanely busy, but here's an overdue update..

I got the subs playing last Saturday morning.

All amps turn on, along with the 3sixty. All channels have output too. Woot!

My doors/pillars aren't done, so I'm just using the factory rear speakers for the time being.

Now, with these (2) 3" ports.. There's ZERO port noise. Whereas, the single 4" port had noise.

From 32hz up, it pounds. The mid 30s - mid 40s straight up SLAM!

I'm tuned to 35ish hz, and am strong down to 32. I can play 30 and 31, but it's quiet. Under that, it straight up unloads.

My box designer and I figured this would happen though. I would extend my port, but they're as long as they can be.

My only other solution is removing the 1/2" wood I added to the inside of my box. I added 4 layers to shrink my box.. But may take out a sheet or two to lower tuning. I just hope that the internal volume doesn't raise too much.

I still need to overview my box sketch sheet and specs that I drew up when I built it. All should be good though. Meh, I don't have many songs under 30hz. Ill test, and test.. I guess.

Now.. Voltage story.. Well.. Fuck. Lol. For the FIRST and one of the few times, I was able to get my voltage under 13.7 at idle.

Makes me want to throw in the 2nd 3500 now lmao

But I have solid plans for the future. I have 2 plans.

Surprisingly, no! I used 1/4" bolts and washers. I took out the plastic plugs. The "hole" was actually a square. As a result, the bolt and washer fit though at the angle.
