Working on a project for my own 2G headlights and I'm planning to trim down some of the internal bracketry a bit.



Primarily the yellow/orange thing here. There was a plastic bracket screwed into the bottom that has a straight line area for that piece, but is otherwise unattached.

Looks to be inconsequential for anything related to the beam alignment or holding it in place so I'm wondering if I can just remove it. These headlights are a spare busted set I have so they will never go onto the car, but are useful for the mock up.
