    (porno) Red Leather interior re-dyed

the 1993 R/T TT I recently bought has a red leather interior. The leather seats were showing signs of wear but no actual tear or split in the material - the visible cracks were not right through to the cushion. So I took the car to a local Fibrenew dealer and had them re-dyed. They turned out amazing! Cost $300 for both seats together and they had to keep the car for a full day due to difficulty in re-dying red. I've attached before and after photos of the driver's seat to show what can be done with a re-dying service. Supposedly, Fibrenew is a franchise available in many cities, just check the internet for a location near you if you want this done. Supposedly they can repair tears in the leather, but I didn't need that done.

the Fibrenew person commented that the Stealth seat is the same as the Viper seat she just recently repaired. I have not seen the interior of a 1993 Viper to know if that is true or not.

She also repaired 5 small (1/2") cuts in my door panel, as well as tar spots on my carpet, but I didn't think to get "before" pictures.

Great stuff!! That's not a bad price at all, either.

I purchased a DIY kit from Furniture Clinic & was very impressed with the results...It cost me about $150-$175 in supplies & took about a weekend to complete.

yup, I think the DIY kit is fine if you don't have cuts/tears, especially with black. I wanted a bang on color match for the red and I didn't want to screw it up, so I outsourced and got a guarantee.
