Looking good. Are you doing a flat black or a glossy?

Looks flat or semi-matte in the pictures but could be wrong.

Good choice. Tired of all the glossy blacks out there.

Been too long since I had an update for this. As you would imagine, time has been a constant factor but I've made a lot of progress.

So a neighbor moved out and left his work bench behind. I believe in recycling so...

All the damn legs were a different length. I have no idea how the guy used the ****ing thing. Either way I got it all leveled(ish) out and went down to JoAnn Fabrics -let me tell you how surprised my wife was at that one!- and I grabbed about 3 yards of Marine Grade black vinyl.

Oh, I also got three monitors from a buddy for free. Two 18's and a 22.

    Anyways, vinyl.

Tower is all ready to go.

Currently have the laptop out here on a stand I made of spare wood and plugged into one of the monitors while I clean out the steam cleaner. All monitors will be wall mounted, just not sure of the configuration of the final product.

Now to buy mounts, a drafting chair, and pc internals.

Looks good. I would consider doing some kind of articulating wall mount at least for two of the monitors.

Yeah I plan on doing that. Honestly though the more and more time I spend out there the more I'm thinking of making it a standing desk.

I've often considered ditching my multi monitor set up for a 32" TV and using a pivoting arm of some sorts to operate the keyboard and mouse from the comfort of my recliner.

Find I don't really use my dual monitors much, the idea of expanding to a third just increases the amount of screen real estate I wouldn't use. Recliner > computer chair allll day.

Unless said computer chair is made from old seats out of a VR4

I've thought about that as well. Still not sure what I think about it.

You use two or three monitors now?
