Suggestions for shipping a car

I've thought about driving it there. I'd have to take a friend with me and fly home when I get there (I don't want to plan on waiting for Ray to finish in case there is something major that needs done. I can't just take 2+ weeks off of work). So I'd have gas, plus 2 plane tickets, plus hotels and food. It may be slightly cheaper but a lot more hassle, plus I'd have to miss at least a couple days of work. That's also with the worry that something could break on the way there and I'd be up the creek without a paddle lol. On top of that other people I work with have stuff going on all month so I couldn't really get the time off until May.

I absolutely plan to fly out when it's done and drive it home.

I've gotten several quotes in the $1000-$1200 range. If I can ship it for less than $1500 I'll consider it about break even with the opportunity cost of missing work had I driven it. I will definitely check out Golden Key Express too.
