I could deal with the stitching but those bands they wrapped throw it way off. The stitching on the pods themselves wouldn't be to noticeable with the gauges installed. The one without the pods looks good with just the tweeter mount. I also hate gauge pods and got rid of mine a couple years ago. Your right though, there is not going to be a way to wrap that without stitching it but whomever did this job did not take the right approach. You should be able to wrap the whole thing and only need to stitch the circular part account the opening of the gauges themselves. I think it was DuTTch that had a new pod built that sits on top of the stock 3 gauges. Stitching looked great on that thing. Everything needs to be double stitched when it comes to leather.

LOL.... The type of stitch it called a double stitch cause when it's done you see the two stitches.

You sew the two pieces together "Open Seam", then fold the seam down with glue or something and roll them flat.



Then you sew each side to make the double stitch.

A lot of leather stuff is done this way cause it is strong. I have a firedn that does leather work and showed all this to me some time ago.

You need a different material to achieve what you are looking for. Take it to a place that lays vinyl on dashboards and have them lay a nice textured vinyl on these with the pods in place. They should be able to match the texture and color of the existing vinyl in the car. Then you would have a OEM looking A-Pillars.
