How is the UGA job any different than the Nebraska job? Both fan bases expect their team to compete for National Championships and that's just not remotely the case right now. Nebraska has made a move to change the status quo. Richt has been at Georgia a long time so maybe it's time for a change. Also, I think it's not so much that Georgia has been a 9-3 team the past few years, it's the manner of some of those three losses...usually there has been at least one real head scratcher...

Adjustedstats has UGA beating Louisville by a couple TD's... but Strong left a good team there. How has Richt done in bowl games?

for one the talent pool is better down here. that's just the way it is.

as for the losses. that's my point exactaly. blow out Auburn, last year's SEC rep for the National title. lose to unranked UF that would later fire their coach. generally he'll lose a game he should and one or more that has no business even being close

in other news, Mike Bobo the OC at UGA is interviewing for the head coaching job at Colorado St. good riddance I say.

To his credit, any coach would be foolish not to rely on such a play with Todd Gurley in the backfield. But still—much like the bubble screen—it’s gotten to a point where defenses know what’s coming.

Luck Accepts Position With NCAA - WVU Athletics

Oliver Luck to be the executive vice president of the NCAA. Hate to lose him, but he did so much for WVU in a very short time that I can't really be mad.

hard not to look good with the likes of AJ Green and Todd Gurley. Richt/Bobo appologists like to point to his per game yards and points average. this is nothing but a smoke screen. teams like Charleston southern and Vandy really pump that numbers up. that is when we don't lose to them. his stats against ranked teams or teams like UF and Alabama are very bad.

yeah a very shitty move... I mean your leaving, why nuke a bridge and try to harm the team.

Pelini is a bastard you can tell but cmon, try to act professional just a bit. What did he gain? He must feel safe at Youngstown forever. Tressel can't be happy.
