    2nd Gen Passenger Airbag delete

If your car comes with a passenger airbag DO AT YOUR OWN RISK also if your in an accident and the cover does not hold I am not responsible for any injuries

Hey all, I bought one of those proximity alarms and needed room to mount the box. I have a 1st gen car that I'm installing a 2nd gen dash into. I decided to gut the airbag and install various modules / electronics in it's place. I removed the airbag cover, 4 screws and cutting 2 rubber/plastic hinges. The rubber hinges can then be removed with a vise-grip. You'll be left with a small round looking head that held the hinge on. Pull that out with the vise-grip too. You'll now have a small opening you can thread an Eyebolt into. Next you need to buy some bungie cords to hold the cover into place. Check out the end result.
