Jeff - I will have more up soon. Hopefully these suffice for now lol.

1992 Kilder Green VR4 - First 4G swap in a 3S. 2.0, auto, awd. 9.65 at 143mph. Now LS swapped. 8.52 at 162.
Wow...
I'm surprised this didn't happen to mine but I also didn't dd it or run aggressive timing.
WOW!!! Thanks for sharing. What did the combustion chamber and spark plug look like? Any signs of detonation?
Jeff
Eric - LOL! Where is your [photo] trophy?!
Jeff - My pleasure! I tried to snap some meaningful pictures to document and answer those questions:
Cylinders six, four, and two per request. That NGK copper-8 is truly "non-projected" now lol. You can also see one compression ring caught in the intake valve.
Cylinder #6's combustion chamber. The other five pistons and chambers are normal.
Piston #6 aka my new coaster - HAH!
I needed to toss in a "nice" picture among the numerous bad ones.
Even though engine carnage's like this are always sad I must say the autopsies are really interesting. Thanks for posting the photos.
What were you revving to?
You seem to have a bunch of trophy pieces. Any ideas how both the top and bottom of the piston got beat up so badly?
Jeff
