Haha I sure hope that mine and Jeff's results are kept in mind for those looking to push a stock bottom daily! As stated, my OCI's were very clean each time with M1 15W-50, and it has really good ZDDP per their specification sheets and others' Blackstone analysis results. I should be inspecting all Clevite bearings tomorrow in regard to my tune, albeit I intentionally left it as aggressive as Mark's and my last build.

Panda v.3 has officially begun. I have missed doing this stuff.

A nice view before the teardown of the motor.

Some Freddy Kreuger sh*t in here LOL. It also looks like the cell phone Decepticon was trying to escape.

Cylinder #6's rod took out a good portion of the piston, the oil rings, AND the damn girdle to boot!
    3/S Street Tuner San Diego's Panda VR-4 v.3 w/ 38psi (peak) on E85+Meth | 3094 lbs as of 7/2/19

    '92 VR-4 - Fully built, AEM EMS S2, MHI EVO3 16G's, suspension, and corner balancing | '10 EVO X SE | '04 EVO VIII SSL
    4/1/21 - "retuned" est. 570AWHP VD SAE (580 U/C | second gear | 88°F) holding ~30psi (more boost & less timing still... hehe)
On the side (v.4): IPS single turbo kit w/ GReddy 70mm, BC 3.4 billet stroker crank, BC gears, Italo billet oil pump gears, etc.

On that last note, I do have to say that Adam and Eric have been doing very well with their TD05/stock block setups lol! They each obviously have bigger plans in store though.

Awesome carnage pics! Just curious - I know you're E85 now but how much power have you put down with a TD04 setup on 91 pump?

I'm surprised it got this far, did it not start knocking before the bomb went off? You said you were pulling in a high gear (4th?). Maybe it was preignition.

Did the rod bend or break? The carnage tells me it broke, the picture looks like it's still attached.

    Jim - I replied back on NC3S! =]

Chris - Good questions! We did two runs where I started in fourth. The video only shows the first spanking. After that, it was normal cruising for a good while without anything abnormal. TBH, I have not bothered looking at my MMCd auto-datalogs lol... probably should have used my GReddy RSS for the EMU's internal datalogging too. As for the rest, I should have it on the stand and disassembled today.

Jeff - When I took a gander last night, I saw that the lower part of #6's rod was still connected to the crankshaft - shown in picture. The portion that connects to the piston/pin obviously raised hell before being spit out. The remainder did not look as bent, but I will post up more later when I tackle that cylinder first among the six.

Take lots of pics please. I'm curious to see the rod journal.

I've been lucky, barely driven it, and stuck with race gas, lol. Can't wait to see what you come back with!

19T + e85 too much for stock bottom?

Those pics look even worse than the mess I made with a stock 6g74 bottom end. Does look like the same result though...busted rod, crank, girdle, Tcase and bellhousing...correct?
