    Got back into Mitsus...

Well, not really, just for a short time. My sister in law is staying with my wife and I for 5 months while she takes English classes so we needed to get her a car to get around in that we would also want to drive when the weather is nice. We'll sell it when she leaves but for now, it's a fun car.

Gotta say, it's much better than my old GST Spyder was, except in the power department, this is the 2.4l.

I had one as a rental in Fl. was a VERY fun car. Actually is was after driving that for the weekend I started looking for a replacement for my Saturn, was looking at these, but out of my price range. While randomly searching other cars that entered my thought, I found my Stealth.

That is why I've never understood why people dogged on the 4th gen so much. It was a great car, and with the MiVEC V6 could hang with the 350Z stock for stock. A huge upgrade especially compared to the 3rd gen.

Just wish that Ralliart prototype would have went into production.

    Good looking car ,congrats!

We follow the earth. The earth follows the stars. The stars know their way and though the body dies. The stars will remain, like the waves of the sea and restless slate.

The 3rd gen was simply awful. There's just no getting around it, and I think the lack of a turbo engine in the 3G really killed the fan base of the car. The 4G updates the styling of the 2G, it does lose the turbo powerplant, but even the 2.4l has MIVEC, it's got like 165hp/165tq so it's actually got some get up and go to it. I'm just impressed with how much more refinement there is with the convertible top vs the 2G, it's like night and day. The engine is a lot smoother than the old 4 bangers were too. Lots of plastic in the interior though (but this is a GS, not the old top of the line GST, so that's probably not a fair comparison.) Does have heated seats and the Rockford Fosgate system with the subwoofer in the rear seat though!

Haha, her name is Rafaela, she's 22 or 23. Sorry guys, she's got a boyfriend back home in Brazil

(Although, my wife and I figure there's even odds she'll meet someone while she's here, 22-23 is too young to be in a committed LTR when you're still figuring out life!)

For the price you can pick those up for, you'd be hard pressed to have more, reliable, fun. My wife had a 3rd gen vert when they first came out. It was an ok car. The 4G style really blows it away, though.

I can say, the 4cyl version of it is pig slow.
