1st Gen Fog Light Restoration and Upgrade

Hey all, purchased a set of fog lights off another member. I don't really like how they look so I'm going to buff/polish the pitting out. I also have a set of Hid upgrades on the way for them. I think I'll also wrap the bezels in carbon.

This is after prying the covers off after sitting 10 mins in the oven at 275 degrees

    On order,

Norton Powertool Disc kit (has power drill attachment and a few grits)

    Gordon Glass Cerium Oxide (Polish)

    Felt Velor Polishing pads

    DDM Tuning Hid kit

    Carbon wrap

I should be receiving the means to sand and buff everything Friday. I'll have an update this weekend.

I've seen several people try to buff out glass, but with varying results (yours truly included!)

Ranked No. #1 in initial quality

Idiots, simply by being idiots, seem capable of achieving randomly bad things that are beyond the imaginings of sensible people.

After some time with a sanding wheel, still need to get the deeper chips out.

Waiting for my X-acto knife from amazon to finish up the first fog bezel
