Here is the unit in real life , gotta port and machine the inside radius before welding the surge tank together.

VSR welded and taked to the curved part of the manifold

Back inside view this part will get a 1/2" weld and a radius will be machined prior surge tank welding

Thats really cool that you can do that stuff. I would love to learn custom fab like that.

Edit: screw it, I ordered one off ebay. If it doesn't work with my setup I can find something else or move stuff on my firewall.

JFast is this the q45 TB that you have?

I'm asking because I have some concerns about it on my car. The thing that the throttle cable goes in looks like it sticks way out the back. I hope it won't hit anything on my firewall. If so do you think you could measure from the center of the TB to the far edge of the half moon piece?

I took some measurements. My IC piping is 78mm ID which is 3.07". The OD is 83mm which is 3.26". The Q45 is 90mm OD and 83mm ID. So it should be pretty decent. Hopefully I can slide a 3" coupler over it as the ones I have now fit 3.26" and it would be just 1/4" more. Worst case I could shave a little off the outside of the Q45.

There are a few on ebay for $130-$150 shipped range.

GCTech I heard rumors about you making an intake for Pampena Motorsports to eventually market and sell. Is this true?

    You need the following:

*some form of a 12v switch for the ECU to know when to engage idle mode

I see no reason why you can't run an aftermarket TB with the flash ECU.
You know what just occurred to me? It would not be hard to code an idle flag using a simple 'less than' TPS percent subroutine. This would eliminate the need for an idle switch all together.

Have you looked at the PNT Plenum? You can pick them up for a steal.
