    Emergency Brake Help

Howdy y'all, one of my bolts came completely out of the floor that holds my ebrake down. I guess that explains why it was so loose. Simple question. Am I able to drill straight down through those existing holes to the underside of the car and just drop 2 big ass bolts in there with some washers and a nice nut on the end to mount my ebrake permanently without having to worry about it coming up through the floor again. I just wanna know before I drill straight down and possibly ruin something. Thanks

    Emergency Brake Help

It's double-walled through that part of the propeller shaft tunnel...Search for RealMcCoy's thread on how to repair this issue for a more permanent (& cleaner-looking) solution.

It's titled: Fixing the dreaded ripped out e-brake lever.
