Why is this site so slow for me

I too have been getting that do I want to continue message and duplicate posts etc.

I worked on some things over the weekend and its seems better.

Still looking at what could cause slowdowns.

I was going to dig this thread up this morning. It was running slow as hell earlier today.

No improvement here. Still 5-20 second delay from click to connect.

Sometimes it's fine, other times it's struggling quite a bit.

then DON'T mess with it. it may take all day to load...but it WILL load. and i'd rather have that....than "powered by vr4".

I've been getting some issues with it running slow and asking if I want to leave the page after posting in a thread.

I found/fixed several database issues last night and that seemed to help. We're still haveing slowdowns.

I am going to upgrade some OS components over the weekend and see if that helps of makes it worse.

I have set the system to restarts apache every hour. Not a good solution but it should help while I try and sort out the actual issues.
