So I am a bit confused. To run the wideband to the pin on the ecu should I be using the ecu ground or not? I know the map sensor needs ecu ground, but the posts here are a bit confusing as some say yes, and some say no for the WB.

Help them, for they know not that which they do not know!

Something I'm not sure you're aware of with that controller... You can tell if you're in the ballpark by simply unplugging the sensor. The controller output defaults to 14.7 when you do that.
OK - I'm late to the party (as usual), but think this is relevant and useful - UEGO inline should read 14.7 AFR which corresponds to 3.11 volts when sensor is unplugged. I used this to validate that mine has an offset I needed to account for. I corrected in the chrome table - kept slope unchanged. Shows 14.7 at idle.
I apparently still have an offset when running very rich (my pre-cat wideband was reading 10.3 during a recent first pull on the dyno, while the dyno's wideband (after the cat) showed 9.9. There continued to be a .3 or so delta between my logging and the dyno's logging at WOT at the top of the rev band, even after we leaned it out a bit. Others have reported similar results with the UEGO inline - see this post for example, "An excellent way to test your base line is to unplug the sensor. .... I have always found that the output is a little off and seems to be further off the lower you go (rich)."
Conclusion - while it may be a linear output - offset and change of slope are possible.
UPDATE: I just loaded Jims table from post 1 and unplugged my sensor. Evoscan is reporting a wideband reading of just under 14.2 or about 2.9V (I'm using sensor ground). Picked two points on my new linear plot (2.9V =14.7AFR; 1.05V=9.9AFR) - did some math - and get the following new table (apparently unique to my AEM inline UEGO).
FURTHER UPDATE I had a bad AEM Inline UEGO controller 30-2310. Finally broke down and purchased a new one, plugged into existing sensor and bang on 14.6 to 14.7 results in closed loop without any offset. Lesson learned: Don't try and adjust for a sensor/controller which starts off giving you strange readings (I have been getting 14.2 outputs in closed loop when no offset was dialed in).

I also had to change the scaling for my AEM inline UEGO since it was reading a bit low.
