Thanks Greg. I did modify that table but I haven't looked at it since I realized how the equation should be used.

So, First step is to correct the AFR scaling in the ROM using the equation that Chris and I got. Then we will see how the AFR reads

I already did the math for you here.

In the table just enter the two values for 0 and 5 volts, high light the whole right side of the table, right click and select interpolate vertically, flash this to your ECU, switch the wideband scaled formula back to mine and tell me if those numbers don't make more sense.

What's nice about widebands and map sensors is they have linear scaling so you really only need 2 data points in order to populate the table.

I tried and it was off quite a bit. I am sure I had something jacked up in the scaling, but it was faster to change the formula just in evoscan at the moment. I'm sure when I get rolling again I can get it right through the rom.

FYI I'm 99% sure I am successfully using the scaling table for the map sensor. It has been since June since I have had a car to work with, so you gotta have mercy on me

Follow the same instructions I gave to Jim. Trust me, it works.

The only time I ran into an issue with it is when the guy didn't use the proper ground for his sensor.

I know it works and how to use it, that's not an issue. I had incorrect numbers in some fashion and it was just quicker to change the setting in evoscan than to keep burning to the rom.

Just checked what I had in the ROM and it was already correct. Also looked at the x * 0.0627 + 7 scaling and that will bring my AFR to 14.5. Going out to the parking lot now to verify but I think this issue is resolved

Yep, that was it. Should have left the Evoscan scaling alone.

    It's reading 14.5 - 14.7 AFR at idle now
