try contacting shooter 83. i know he's done this, and if memory servers, i think golferman did it bitd too. you can actually get JDM units for piss cheap, but they read in Celsius instead of Farenheit.

Evan (shooter83) has chimed in that he did the conversion but hasn't gotten back to me as far as wiring goes. I'll probably get around to mapping it out this weekend

I found the excel file I made on the conversion I did back in 2009. I also have the Mitsubishi Magna service manual I used to do it. PM me your email Tensecs.

Hmm...just checking this thread out, looking at that map out of the wiring and now I've got a question. I see water temp sensor in there. What's this for? I'm remembering a water temp sensor for a/c, I'm assuming that's what it's for? Reason I'm asking is I deleted all a/c years ago and recently removed that sensor and I've noticed the air isn't as hot while at idle now vs. while driving. Not sure if that's coincidental or not and that map out brought on curiosity that it may do more than just a/c?

Water temp sensor controls how much heat from the radiator fluid hits the heater core. It'll have a direct impact on how much heat you get

Interesting! So, by removing that, I DID change heat output then, correct? Is there anything on how this works exactly? It still puts out blistering heat like before, but only while driving, since the RPMs are higher than at idle.

I thought that was just for a/c so I removed it, less wiring and crap. I did a mild wire tuck, this last go around in the engine bay.
