Good luck with the Orbweaver. Had one back when it was a Nostromo N52te. They're useful for some stuff, but I never found it to be markedly better than a good keyboard, hopefully Razr made some improvements to the design now.
Color me jealous on the EVE box though. Just can't invest time and money into games like that anymore.


Addendum to April: He is too cute. Must have a meet out your ways to meet the little guy.

I still have my n52te. It was quite a shock to me when I realized the damn thing isn't supported anymore so I out the orbweaver on my list. The design is remarkably improved. I haven't gotten a chance to assign all the hotkeys I need for EVE to it but it should help, seeing as how the F1-F10 keys are used a lot and with me always playing on a laptop this should lead to some faster reactions.

The original was quite useful when playing WoW all those years ago, I will say.

The EVE Collectors Edition gave me some cool stuff like a Rifter (ship) model that doubles as a USB splitter, a great info book, game codes that gave me literally billions of ISK worth of stuff and a mystery code that will keep giving me things.

All in all a great Christmas.

I love you guys

We gave a stray dog a new lease on life, plenty of food, neutering, heartworm preventative, and most importantly a loving warm safe environment to sleep. Not to mention rid him of all the fleas and ticks he was covered in.

That was a stray?

Yeah, he showed up in the neighborhood a little more than a month ago. I actually got a few calls asking if it was our husky. I just happened to catch a neighbor jogging by my house, and he was with her. I asked if she knew the owners but she said he was a stray that neighborhood was feeding. Asked if she was going to keep him, but she said she couldn't. So I took him to the only two vets in the town to see if they recognized him or if he was microchip, no luck. Took him to the shelter to see if anybody reported a lost dog, no luck. Talked Don into keeping him... got him UTD on shots, microchipped, and neutered. Named him Albe, because he has those eyes that say "I'll be good". I'm pretty sure he's a purebred, but most decent breeders microchip their puppies. At the right angle, you can see his ribs even in his winter coat. His hip and shoulder bones jut out too. Huskies are a lean breed, but not that lean for a non-working sled dog.

I went to sister in laws for the traditional seafood over biscuits breakfast, then off to the hospital to visit mom in law after knee replacement. After that fun we went for a 2 mike walk along the river, then off to Christmas dinner with other family. An absolutely wonderful day!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Went up to see my grandmother in NC. Got her out of the nursing home and back into her real home for our usual family Christmas dinner. The food wasn't as good as when she cooked it, but it was awesome just to see her smile. Best Christmas in years.
