    Paying it forward...

Just last week my wife, Allison, went to go pickup our layaway Christmas gifts for the kids. The cashier mentioned someone had anonymously paid off the remaining layaway balance in an act of "paying it forward". On Tuesday this week I dropped by Smash Burger to pickup an online order and the person in line in front of me paid for it and left without saying anything.

In "paying it forward" Allison paid forward the layaway balance of another anonymous person and I bought the family in line behind me dinner. I've never in my life ever done any Christmas "paying it forward" before but it feels pretty good!

It's nice to see random acts of kindness and stewardship still exist.

Anyone out there experiencing good karma too?

No need for it to be during the holidays to do things like that. If people did things like that throughout the year, the world would be a much better place.

There is a guy here in the Twin Cities that does this sort of thing. He gives everyone that he can see 500 dollars. He does it for one day and he must give away close to a hundred thousand or more.
Your 1993 Dodge Stealth is one of 6351 that received VIN numbers. Based on the order of the serial numbers, your car was the 5212nd out of the 6351 that were made that year.
Your car was built in the 3rd week of February 1993. Of the 47380 vehicles made at the Nayoga plant, your car was the 40537th vehicle to be created that year.
There are 281 other cars that were made with both the same interior and exterior color. There are 779 cars with the same exterior color and 2316 cars with the same interior color.
Note: The production order is assigned based on the order of the serial number.

At creative habbitat (craft shop) there is a Christmas tree with pictures of people in the local nursing home with things they like. You can pull a tag off the tree and be their "secret santa". My gf did it for 2 people and bought some drawing pads for one and puzzles for another. I did a clutch job in a kids Honda last year for free, barely knew him through facebook. It was his only mode of transportation and he worked 2 delivery jobs that required him having a vehicle. He helped ofcourse but didn't really know his way around cars.

The truth!!!! Instead most of the year we have to lock everything for fear of someone taking something that isn't rightfully theirs. It's good to hear it happening the other way around. Thanks for sharing!!

I really have to give a lot of credit for good karma to my wife. I was pretty much a total douche when we first met. Giving and charity is really important to her. She pretty much opened my eyes to that. In keeping with tradition and understanding her roots I came to understand stewardship. Now we pass it onto our kids.

Our six year old, Rome, asked to bring home an Angel Tree this year. On the branches were Christmas wishes from orphan kids. He emptied all the change out of his piggy bank and rolled it. We took him to the bank to cash it so he could buy presents. As a family we filled every wish on the tree... Feels good!

I don't slam my car into everyone that cuts me off or tailgates me everyday everywhere I go. I consider that "paying it forward".
