OK, drove the car out for lunch today. It's still running strong, but it's also still smoking on decel when in gear. I don't see it puff when I take off from a stop, just after the vacuum goes really high when coasting in gear with the clutch out. So now it's either the front turbo or VSS. Not looking forward to either of those, but you have to do what you have to do. Besides, I wouldn't want to sell it to someone if it's not 100%. That would be wrong.

sell when it's not 100%. that's about 95% of 3/s's sold. and i'd guess about 90% of that is intentional.

If you're having that may problems with it and you absolutely need a car to sell, sell the VR4. If you're really aching to get another one, there are a ton of them out there and most of them probably in better condition than yours (no offense obviously), and you wont have to spend 30k to get another one.

A little burning oil is not a lot of problems. Either the front turbo or the VSS will take care of it. Of course, while I'm doing the VSS I might as well do the timing belt and what not while I'm in there. Could get costly...

You know... I don't think I've ever seen you in GA, either. I must admit, I haven't been very active in the group for a while now. My wife and I used to come to almost every gathering under the sun. Not so much any more.

    I'm in Peachtree City...

ahh I see why now...I've lived in Covington, Conyers, Duluth and now Cumming since I've owned my car. I've only attended a handful of meets, mainly local meets.
