LOL! I am putting mine back to stock too! I bought a 2007 TL type-S as a daily driver and never actually drive the VR4. I am putting it all back to stock and fixing every tiny defect thats never really bothered me much and one (the cracked dash vents) that I have wanted to fix for the last year and then I'll either sell it or start all over and do it all 100% right. My other thought was clearing room in the garage for a 2008 Z06 or LS3 vette with a twin turbo setup. You can get one of those for $50k and its hands down better then any of the cars from the 90s era. I loved the GTO but it just did not have enough traction and the Vette would be all the things it wasn't and easy to mod if I wanted.

The Supra is nice but they just don't do it for me, I would sell it for a nice hefty sum of cash.

    92 Eagle Talon TSI AWD Auto = 10.61@127.8 (1.4 60ft)
    94 3000gt SL 8:1TT 5spd getrag = 11.87@123 (1.8 60ft)
    91 3000gt VR4 13gs = 11.61@115 (1.59 60ft)

I'd have to say that the Supra is a stunning car... Having said that, I hate them, not for what they are though. Working on them is an absolout nightmare! I have several scars from working on the last one I owned, not to mention the fact that finding some parts for them are extreamly slim pickings! I have to say that I would sell the Supra, I'm not very biased on the two, they both have their setbacks, and I've owned a couple of each. Like a few people have said, I would put a large sum of that money into a retirement account, or hell, invest it even? Sure it's rare and all, but if you have no desire to find another one if you were to sell it you can't like it all that much, and if you were to keep it and drive it, your shamelessly racking up mileage on a rare car Just my $0.02

I thought I was the only one that did not like working on Supras. The only scar I have ever received from working on a car came from this one. 3 different 3000GTs and my former Eclipse (all of which I worked on more) have never injured me like the Supra has.

The bad thing is, I can't say for sure if I would not want another Supra. I've been driving it a lot more now than I ever have since we have owned it (it's always been her car until we got the 335i). It's grown on me so much in the past 6 months that if we were to sell both of our cars I think some day not too far off I would start tracking down either a RSP (1997+) or Quicksilver (1998) Supra six speed. That won't be easy, and it won't be cheap.

You know... if my white VR-4 would have impressed me the way my green VR-4 did, I wouldn't even have this problem. My green one left some huge shoes to fill, and the white one never really had a prayer.

Do you have the space to do what I'm doing.

Extend your driveway to be three cars wide. That way the garage is un blocked and you can get a good car cover for the one that in the third spot outside.
