OHIO - Winter Gathering @ Mad River Mtn. - January 18th

Hi everyone!

I'm planning on putting together a little gathering in January. The plan is to go out for an early dinner, and a few hours of snow tubing at Mad River Mtn. afterwards. No 3/S necessary, just come hang out and have a good time with us!


When: Saturday, January 18th

Tentative schedule:

4:00-4:30 pm : Meet up for dinner at Six Hundred Downtown in Bellefontaine.
Six Hundred Downtown - Old School Pizzeria, Bellefontaine Ohio

6:00 pm : Head over to Mad River Mountain for a few hours of tubing at their Avalanche tubing park.
Mad River Mountain | Ohio's Largest Ski & Snow Tubing Resort | Where everyday is a Snow Day!

They warn on their website that they are usually at capacity during afternoon/early evening hours on weekends, which is why I'm scheduling the tubing for the evening hours.

One week to go!

Once again, for those who are coming, please post up (either here or on the facebook page) and let me know along with the number of people that will be with you. I would like get a count for dinner reservations, and also to see if we will have enough to qualify for a group rate for the tubing. (If you are only coming for dinner and not tubing, or vice-versa, let me know).

Just one day away!! Weather is looking good for tubing, and there is fresh snow on the ground!

I think the plan on Saturday will be to meet up at the restaurant (Six Hundred Downtown - Old School Pizzeria, Bellefontaine Ohio) between 4:00 and 4:30. I'll try to get there around 4:00 to get some tables for us, or at least get the on waiting list if they happen to be busy. I'll put the reservation under my name, and if we haven't been seated by the time you get there, we'll probably be at the bar.

Afterwards we will head over to Mad River for tubing. We don't have enough for the group rate right now, so it will be $25 per person. It will be chilly, and we will be out there for a few hours, so wear warm clothes! They will have live music at the bar later that evening, if anyone wants to get warmed back up afterwards.
