    Reputable digital climate control rebuilders?

Can anyone recommend a reputable climate control rebuilder? I know it isn't terribly difficult to replace the components, but experience almost always makes a job turn out better. I'd rather trust this job to someone who has done it before. I see a place advertising on Ebay (Galaxy Car Parts), but they have an F rating with the BBB. Their Ebay feedback is good, but the F rating is worrisome. Has anyone used them?

If anyone does this or can recommend someone who repairs these modules, please let me know!

    Thanks,
    Tom

Just curious why not find a used? This isn't an attempt at a pitch but I have a good working one but one of the lower mounting tabs is broken. Perhaps between your housing and it you could make a good one? I opted to replace it.

I have looked at used units, but I assumed I would be back in the same position at some point in the future. Can you PM me with the cost of your unit?

    Thanks,
    Tom

Galaxy did mine and it works perfectly. Fast turn around and they refunded the 75 core as well. I bought the 129 dollar one because my mount tabs were broken.

Yep, I can repair yours - and it won't be nearly as much as Galaxy charges :P

How much do you charge? Do you repair both the display and the computer itself? Please post or PM me with the details.

    Thanks,
    Tom

I didn't hear anything for a long time, so I went with Galaxy's repair service. They repaired the unit and returned it extremely quickly. I hooked up the components and everything worked, but the background cathode lines were pretty bright (not a good sign). The display worked for about 20 minutes and went out again on my test drive with a burned resistor smell. I sent it back yesterday, so we'll see what happens. If they make it right, I will not be unhappy with the deal. I will post the results when I get the display unit back again.
