FamilyMAN has posted some fantastic VD graphs displaying what Nomie is referring to. He is using AEM but the theory is the same for chrome users. Instead of boost leveling up top or falling off, duty cycle is increased effectively raising boost pressure up top where the cams will lower your VE. This will offset TQ fall off and also raise or maintain HP up top as long as you haven't found the knock threshold.

^this. I also did it to keep tq down at peak tq. I hit 20psi after spool up and then ramp it up to 25-27psi. If I used a manual boost controller or EBC I would have hit at least the 27psi at peak tq to make the 27 up top. That would have made an additional ~100awtq which is a lot more than I wanted on stock rods. ECU controlled boost gives you so much control!

How's it gone?, I run a 3" GM maf in blow through and have topped it out. It doesn't flat line like I'd hoped and just goes ape-sh17 and the air HZ can vary 500hz between counts.

I'm going back to draw through with a 90mm maf to see how that fairs.

Speed Density will never have the accuracy of MAF over all conditions, the rely on closed loop O2 control to get the target aft bang on. I was amazed how repeatable my afrs were with the GM MAF and hope the 90mm in draw through will do the same.

True I forgot it was the 5th today. Hoping to see some nice numbers. Be sure to compare the virtual dyno pulls to what the dynojet reads too. I'm curious for my sake
