Terry do battery tenders go bad? I had one (a schumacher) hooked up but found a dead battery last week.

Got the 7002, and a .8

Tore into the 7002 today and it looks legit! Hooked her up on recondition mode. It analyzes the battery, and adjusts the voltage, and amperage to match the condition of the battery. After reading the manual, if there is anything a battery needs to get healthy this thing does it! Woot!

I spend no less that 400 a year on batteries for the 4x4, lawnmower, RV$, cars/truck. Been an idiot procrastinating on getting something like these.

Like anything they can break I suppose. Could also just be a bad battery too. If anything is going to bring it back it'd be the 7002.

Looks like the 4.3 is good enough for most application? Probably need 2 so I rather get 2 of the 4.3 instead of one 7002.

Yeah, the 7002 really steps it up to a full out charger. The 4.3 will do charging but a bit slower and without as many fancy options while also maintaining.
