Nelson had a strong showing at World Cup Finals this weekend, and managed to reset the 1/4 mile ET record in the process:

9.18 @ 158

9.08 @ 158

8.57 @ 160

^What car? Considering the drivetrain from his race car went overseas a long time ago, I don't see that happening. I don't think he even owns a running 3/s at the moment. And there's a MASSIVE gap between .74 and .57...

And for what it's worth, it will need to be confirmed, but I believe Nelson had to add several hundred lbs of ballast to his car to qualify for class rules. This is a class-legal race car, that reset the record in front of many thousands of people. WFC is the event to attend. Give credit where credit is due...
