To clear up some questions and save me time later...
Bell Intercoolers has the ETS FMIC measuring 3.5" x 12" x 24" FMIC core rated at 1435cfm.
Bell Intercoolers rated these cores at 742cfm each. The combined cfm rating of these SMIC's is 1484cfm.
The SMIC'S flow more and have the a higher efficiency sink rating than every bolt-on 3/S retail FMIC on the market. TRUTH.
These+750's= ultimate sleeper..
I was posed a question by a member stating a reputable 3/S guy told him in order to meet his goal of 600+whp he would require upgrading to an FMIC. In order to prove that's not necessarily the case I took a few minutes to sift thru Bell Intercoolers Intercooler Core Database for a bunch of known intercooler core dimensions and interpolated their corresponding CFM ratings. Granted, some of the cores on the following list aren't as efficient as Bell cores (those with low TPI China cores)... but I hope the table illustrates best case scenarios.

DR750's are rated max flow at 650CFM per turbo. When Matt M and I were discussing kylightening's build he confirmed that number. My 20G's flow around 680cfm per turbo (I have the build and CFM verification sheet for them).
Obviously if their CFM ceiling potential was illustrated by Permanent Grin on a stock 3/S at 1300cfm. If the core setups in my chart are all rated at being 90% efficient then only cores with a CFM rating higher than 1430cfm (1300cfm x 10% = 130cfm +1300cfm) will support 600whp .
The only cores I see filling that void which are currently available on the retail market are the ETS 3.5" core, Treadstone's 4.5" TR12, and my SMIC's.
ETS is 26x12x3.5, and has 1092cubic inches. How did you get your cfm rating for them?

I really like the product. I think it is a great idea and would love to run them. I'm not even really against the price of them. The issue I have with them is for the money you still don't have any intercooler piping. I realize mass production and materials purchasing makes a huge difference, but you can catch the ETS setup on sale for $1170 and that includes the big nice core they have and even stainless steel piping. If your solution was in the price range you have now and including piping and couplers I think it would be a no brainer. When you factor in the expense of getting a good set of piping you could have almost $2k in the total sidemount setup.
I hate FMIC surging as much as the next guy, but at $2k vs <$1200 its something I'd probably just live with.
I hope this does not come across as offensive, I really do like the setup you've made and it should do well to those that appreciate quality components, especially if they have good piping already. For those of us that are already FMIC it is hard to convert.

In the bottom left corner of the table in post #115 there's a link to Bell Intercoolers Air to Air cores by thickness. Open the link and click on 3.5" cores and scroll down till you find your individual core dimensions.
If you have a 3.5 x 26 x 12 core it looks like Bell rates that core upwards of 1500cfm.
For you guys running the ETS setup, what are your exact core dimensions? I will update the table with your data when I get off work.

Now here is your next task, Create a set of SMIC's for those of us under 5-600hp looking for nothing more than a stock replacement and keep the cost around $5-600.
Considering most of the 3s community is still under the 5-600hp mark I think it is better to produce something for the masses then the few. 90% of the people on this platform will get no use out of your SMIC "as great as they are" but are looking for a viable SMIC replacement option. Stock SMIC's these days are battered due to age and there are no stock SMIC replacement out there. I'd like to see someone create something as a replacement or slight upgrade to the stock SMIC's
