If i can only have one. Be AWD. If i can choose but still only have one. I'll rock a diesel crew cab 4x4 truck.

I'm a little surprised, thought there would be more RWD guys out there. I guess if I was considering my daily driver, as well, I would probably say AWD. Can't say for my weekend car though since I have no experience.

I'll have to check out the rental thing that would be a blast! I'm guessing they are all autos?

The AWD0 was an accident I guess.. I had to put a zero in one of the boxes to make the poll active indefinitely I guess I put an extra in lol

Well you did say "for the rest of your life" and since most of us don't spend a majority of our driving time sideways or doing burn-outs... it's only logically most would say AWD.

Very true.. maybe I should have said for your fun car.

Anyway, can't decide what I want to rent:
Nissan GT-R | Hertz Dream Cars
SRT Viper | Hertz Dream Cars

I wonder how often they go through tires/clutches on the second one!

I'd personally rent the Viper, I've never driven something so brutal. The GT-R feels like a bigger, faster Evo which is fun, but I wouldn't call it that memorable.

I'd definitely rent the Viper. GTR's are more common and hell if I wanted to take one for a ride all I have to do is ask my friend who owns one.

There is actually a 430 Spider local to me. I was shocked when I saw, and even more shocked when I found out where the guy lives.

I've owned RWD (72 LeMans with a 383, 00 Mustang GT, 93 Ranger), AWD (91 TT, 06 Acura TL) and FWD (97 Eclipse). Truth is, I enjoyed the RWD for shenanigans like burnouts and shit, but definitely just a "fun" car, wouldn't be able to live with it for the rest of my life.

RWD makes for a fantastic project car on the cheap, but didn't enjoy daily driving the LeMans or the Mustang in the winter. AWD is just more livable. Both can generate pretty good amounts of power and can drive like a champ through corners if set up properly.
Mods: 2g 3k body conversion, 2g Brake upgrade, Rota P45R rims
Projects: Interior sound deadening, 14Bs, forged bottom end, custom radiator and sound mounts
