Well crap the speedometer mount broke does anyone have the Mitsubishi part # for this. It's the part on the right that the shaft and sensor attach to. The AL tab where it bolts to trans broke off had a crack in it.

Feeling stupid but just not having luck. Need to get the shift lugs lined up in Neutral so I can put the shifter assembly back in but no matter how hard I try with a screw driver or socket extension I can't get them to line up like in the manual. I've thought about pulling the cover on the springs / bearing to see if that helps.
How do you line them up what am I doing in correctly?
The detent plate and bearings/springs needs to be removed to ensure the shift rails are fully seated. If they won't align its possible to have a ball wedge itself under a shift rail. It's also possible a shift fork is bound on a hub slider or the shifter assembly guide is still positioned and the shifter is being blocked.
