    Radeon Ramdisk

Has anyone used Radeon Ramdisk or anything similar to it? Ive set it up for internet browsing but want to eventually get some games going on it. My internet pages load crazy fast now. I tried running fable TLC just to see how it loads and it was also stupid fast. Makes me want to build a new gaming pc... or at least freshen up the mobo, cpu, and ram

I have 32 gigs of ram, used half as a ramdisk. Really didn't notice any exceptional speeds since I'm already running a ssd.

SSD is crazy fast already. I built a rendering box for a mate with a Corsair Force GT Series 3 160GB SSD with an i7 quad core and 16GB of ram and an nVidia quatro 4000 and it loads windows from start to fully completed with all services running in 12 seconds. I think if you're running an SSD and lots of ram the ramdisk won't make much of a difference. Better off spending the money on a better videocard.

Yea, I run a SSD in my school laptop with 8 gigs of ram. It runs pretty fast as is. My desktop is another story Running 4gb of ddr2 800 and 3 older western digital black hard drives. It is quite a bit slower than my laptop, but I plan on replacing the mobo, cpu, and memory soon anyway because it is waay out of date (circa 07 or 08 lol). If you had say 16gb of memory and could put a game on 8 of said gigs i wonder what the load times would drop to.
