Anyone have a 3SX ETS FMIC?

Just have some questions that haven't been answered on the other site.

I read on the description that the kit uses 2" steel piping. Would this be better than aluminum piping? I am assuming the ETS kit is 3" TB IC pipe and then 2" piping?

Also, is this kit a 3" in-and-out and bead rolled?

http://www.extremeturbosystems.com/ is there home site (360)263-3748. I personally think that they make the best fmic kit for our cars! Matt (snakeskiner) uses there kit on his stealth. Yes they are bead rolled at the ends, and stainless steal wont collapse like aluminum will. Its a strong well made kit you should give them a call and ask for Mike and tell them Brett sent you and said to hook you up with a deal. They are 2" till they merge before the ic then the rest is 3". The core is HUGE at 26x12x3.5 it will fill the gap in the front of your car. The core is custom fit to our car. aslo there core is less restrictive than most and is less likely to overheat than the other cores out there. Hope this helps. Brett

    Hey Brett,

Did you have your rear stock IC pipe polished? Just wondering since I heard that the ETS kit uses the stock rear IC pipe.

    It looks really good!

ETS build that pipe custom for me because I have a td05 set up. They can make a one to replace the stock td04 pipe as well for pretty cheap. They will do what you want them to do for a good price.

Just to clarify they are anodized not painted. I sure that's what you meant, but don't want other people to get confused.

Brett you got a very nice car!

I received my ETS FMIC today, I didn't had the chance to see it because I'm away, I just know it's there. I ordered it black/black/black. Not that had not a good intercooling system (I have Gene's HUGE SMIC and they work pretty well, but they stick out a bit out of my 1G TT and I would preffer not).

Did you order yours from 3SX or ETS directly?
